If there is one thing I love about the US, is how accessible delivery is here. Today has been a great example.
One of our credit cards gave us a $100 voucher to REI, an outdoor retailer, and so along with some points I was able to get a pair of sick new runners for ~$20. They were in Florida on Friday afternoon when I ordered them. Now they’re in my house.
This morning we ordered groceries, and this afternoon, they arrived. Food for the week, sorted. Oh, and it’s free.
I have two work shirts arriving on Tuesday, the same day I have a new work laptop turn up on my doorstep. Again, all ordered Friday.
It’s a big country, and it’s incredible how the supply chains, from Amazon, to USPS, to FedEx, to UPS all hustle HARD to get the stuff from A to B. I’m impressed.
