Today I joined the Denver Bulldogs, arguably the Real Madrid of USA based Australian Rules Football clubs.
It was a blast, but boy, I’m sore writing this now. Hopefully I’ll toughen back up quick smart.
Playing Australian Rules Football internationally is an interesting experience. The main difference is that the teams often have huge deltas between player experience and ability, ranging from people who had played professionally in the AFL, to people who have literally no idea what the rules are.
It’s a lot of fun, and I’m looking forward to spending more time down at the club.
