I was reading X while waiting for some data to upload this afternoon, and found out that a mere 3 minutes prior, and ~500 miles away, Charlie Kirk had been assassinated at a rally.
It’s a terrible thing to happen.
I don’t share Mr Kirk’s politics, or at least not most of them. But there is no denying that he made an impact, built something, stood up for what he believed in, and was committed to the cause. More importantly, he was a husband and father.
Many lives have been ruined today. His. His family. The person who did it, who is at large, and if caught, might be executed. Their family. The list goes on.
Charlie Kirk was 31 years old.
