Ky and I went to the zoo after work today. With Halloween around the corner, it was themed; spooky style!
Going to the zoo after twilight, and with kids, is a blast. Occi loves the animals, and Denver Zoo has a great range. If I had to guess, her favourite animal was the cassowary, but Ky thought it was the elephant. Fair enough, they’re both pretty cool.
We went to the zoo frequently as children, and I was always a huge fan of the reptile house. I still am! Although they never really do anything, it’s always fun to spot them. Occi isn’t a reptile enthusiast just yet, but giver her time, and she’ll be on the lookout with me.
