I saw a woman fishing the other day while walking with Octavia. Incredibly, she caught one while we were watching!
Not to be outdone, I found a $40 rod on Facebook marketplace, some hooks and sinkers, and tonight, cast off.
Not even a nibble.
But it was 45 minutes spent enjoying the sunset, listening to a podcast on Machivelli, and slurping a beer.
Time well spent. Perhaps tomorrow will be better!
