After the worst snow season in living memory, the Colorado snow season is FINALLY getting into gear. It only took until mid February for things to get going.
There are reports that some mountains might be expecting 2ft of snow this week, which would be excellent, as we are once again up the mountain this weekend.
As I have mentioned before, we’re at the point where the joy of skiing is being out in nature with friends and family, home cooked meals, and glasses of red. It’s not getting waist deep in powder or hitting pristine turns our back.
BUT…
It is nice to do that every once in a while, and for all the people who make a crust out of the alpine industry, they must be more than relieved.
