That you can go skiing in Argentina? I didn’t until today, but it makes sense.
They have the mountains from the Andes, they have the latitude, they have Patagonia, and perhaps most importantly, they have a deeply European culture that would clearly love skiing.
Is it the best snow in the world? According to my research, probably not. It won’t be Mt Baw Baw, but it won’t be Courchevel or Niseko either. But what it could be is an incredible holiday destination that I had never considered.
My Year 8 Geography project was on Argentina, and since then, I think there has always been a mild interest in the nation that waxes and wanes.
Not this year.
But one day.
