I’m currently 2/3 of the way through a 36 hour fast, and going strong. Around 6pm, I didn’t think I would make it, and was enduring waves of hunger and headaches. Why was I doing this when I had half a fridge full of food!
But our bodies are built to fast, and after your body transitions into a fasted state, the hunger dissipates, a sense of calm descends, and a feeling of power that it really is mind over matter.
That said, I am very much looking forward to breaking the fast at 12pm tomorrow!
