It wasn’t planned, but it certainly feels like Australia Week. A few days ago I did a deep dive on ANZAC Day. Today, I want to indulge in the most common Australian conversation: complaining about fuel prices.
Right now, the average fuel price in Aus is $1.98 a liter, or $7.5 a gallon. That is ~$5.37 USD, so definitely higher than average.
The reason I bring this up is that today we refuelled our car from practically zero, and hit the $50+ marker for the first time.
And you know what? So what. Life is too short to get worried about things outside of our control, and fuel prices are one of them.
