We drove out to Crested Butte, our favourite mountain town, to catch the wild flowers and see friends. It’s one of our favourite places in the world.
The only issue is that it includes 4 hours of travel through windy mountain passes, and even those with the sturdiest of constitutions can find it taxing. For a toddler facing backwards, the chance of a vomcano occurring rapidly converge to 100%.
About 2 hours in, O was clearly upset, and we decided to pull our trump card; turning the car seat round. Technically you’re meant to wait until they’re two years old, but I can’t imagine any police officer is asking for ID.
So O looks out and into the world now, and she LOVES it. She gets to see things on the side of the road, our little camera, and best of all, the wipers.
Welcome to the big leagues.
