Two months ago, our $50 a month internet bill jumped to $85.
That isn’t much fun.
So I did what every sane person should do, and shopped around.
For the past 18 months, our $50 Xfinity Plan has been spotty. Zoom calls sometimes were a bit choppy, and while we aren’t much of a streaming family, we did have the occasional buffer. Again, not much fun.
All that is now in the rearview mirror, because as of this afternoon, we are enjoying fibre connections for only $45 a month. For those unfamiliar with the power of fiber, our average internet speed has jumped from ~50mbps to 1200mbps+.
Is it necessary? No. Is it a hell of a lot better than dealing with crummy connections and twice the bill? Absolutely.
I genuinely couldn’t recommend making the swap to Quantum Fiber if you’re in the area. If you’d like to to make the switch, I have a $100 discount code HERE.
Note: I occassionaly make recommendations with affliate links, this is one such case. I stand behind all my recommendations 100%, and are not paid or partnered with AT&T or Quantum Fiber. I just think they’re great.
