I went to the Post Office today to, surprise, post a package and make a photocopy of my passport. It was a terrible experience.
The Post Office is an important service, and I don’t want it to be cancelled. But the culture and customer service there are bottom tier, and they were entirely unhelpful and borderline rude. I left with neither a photocopied passport nor a posted package.
Instead, I went down the road, to a business which has no right to exist. Rocket Pack and Ship is a small store which only exists because of the inefficiencies with the post office. By being useful, friendly, and solution orientated, I left with all my tasks done, a smile on my face, and $10 poorer.
