Last night Ky and I went on a date night. We’ve both been busy, particularly Ky, who has been on an aeroplane each of the past six weeks.
We went to a jazz bar called Nocturne. It was perfect; adult, moody, with great drinks and musicians. We were comped a free dessert (and cocktail!) which is always nice, and enjoyed some terrific jass. If you’re one of my Denver readers, I highly recommend checking it out, it was excellent.
Afterwards, we had a quick dinner at Work & Class, a Southern restaurant with an upmarket touch to it. Not over the top, but elevated classics. We were both fans.
By 8pm we were home, and ready to tuck O up for bed.
Ky and I love being parents, but it is also nice to have a few hours off to reconnect, chat, and enjoy some uninterrupted time together. Highly recommended!
