The results are still coming in, but I’ve seen enough: Texas, of all places, now has a Democratic senator. So might Alaska and Mississippi by tomorrow. It’s nothing short of an electoral wipeout for the Republicans.
They deserved it. High prices and Middle Eastern wars, combined with bizarre obsessions and shameless self-enrichment.
I don’t know if this is the “End of MAGA”, but I think it might be. JD Vance, once the heir apparent, looks finished. Trump is either going to go nuts or do nothing for the next two years, maybe both. Rubio might survive. Maybe.
