This week I had two main projects, build and deploy a machine learning algorithm that calculates the expected Series A valuation of a founder, based on their past experience, as well as a video demo of the product I am working on. My skills and experiences in both fields is limited, and the due date was 10am today.
The past 24 hours have been largely focused on that, and setting the alarm at 5am to get it done wasn’t my favourite way to spend a Friday morning. But, I got it done, and I’m glad I delivered the goods.
Some places in the past have had a more relaxed attitude to outcomes, but I’m genuinely glad that I’m in a company that pushes me, and I’m proud that I rose to the challenge. Next week, we do it all again.
