She performed at Red Rocks today, one of the more famous music venues in Denver. I have long been a fan, and her song Sunrise always gets me in the mood for a classy dinner party. She is a class act.
Which is why it was so great to be able to go see her live. She put on a good show; Norah is clearly a huge talent, and has a nice repertoire of songs. However, she doesn’t have a world class stage presence. It’s not as though she was shy, but there was a sobriety to her performance which took it down a notch. A more intimate venue would have defanged this issue, but alas, Red Rocks is open air.
Overall, it was another wonderful date night.
