Today we took our friends to Gun City, the safest store in Denver. Their words, not mine.
Going to a firearm store is an interesting experience. Not everyone is a fan, and that’s fine. Personally, I think they’re kinda crack up.
This was my second time to Gun City, so I knew what to expect, and shot the breeze with the store attendants. These guys (and they’re all guys), aren’t doing it for the pay either, they’re genuinely passionate about the work.
The highlights this time were seeing a rifle with a legitimate bayonet, a hand grenade, a 1970’s landmine (expired) and an AR-50.
You may be familiar with the AR-15, aka the assault rifle. The AR-50 is the step up, and, at least according to the salesman, was capable of bringing down a light aircraft. Great tool for those in the rabbit hunting space like myself!
