Three weeks ago, our dishwasher started making some strange sounds. We called maintenance, and employing an interesting strategy, they decided to take the misbehaving part. Interesting, how so? Well, they didn’t replace it, so we went from a noisy dishwasher to an ineffective one.
There is something mildly infuriating about playing Russian Roulette with a faulty dishwasher. Somethings come out find, others come out not just dirty, but those stains are now infused thanks to their 90 minute steaming. Terrific….
Three weeks of constant calls and emails, and it turns out the part is no longer made. Again, terrific. But then, the story takes a positive turn, as management decided to just replace our dishwasher with a brand new one. It takes ~20 minutes more per cycle, but it’s silent, and best of all, it is silent.
Terrific.
