You can buy most things in America. In fact, visiting an American supermarket, and ESPECIALLY a Costco, makes one feel like Gorbachev when he first visited the US 40 years ago. There sure is a lot of stuff to buy.
Except for one thing. Hooded towels, extremely popular in Australian surfing culture, are completely foreign here. On multiple occasions, including today, many people have commented that they have never seen one before. I’ll include a photo below x
