If there is one tool in the kitchen which never ceases to impress me, it’s the thermometer.
You don’t NEED one, but I highly recommend it. The digital ones in particular are both affordable and effective.
The idea that you can use your fingers to test the doneness of steaks is completely codswallop, and a medium rare chicken is in nobodies bucket list.
