I watched the last quarter of the Divisional Playoffs between the Washington and Detroit. The Detroit Lions came in strong favourites, but managed to completely implode.
One memorable example was seeing them penalised for the the most comical of reasons; too many players on the field. I played a lot of low level sport, and I can tell you that this NEVER happened. The fact that this could occur on the biggest stage, with the season on the line, is incredible.
There is a lot of wisdom in succeeding simply by reducing unforced errors.
