Guilty! Missed out on finishing this yesterday.
It is always so good to visit the Big Apple. Yesterday I visited my friend JG, who is equal parts hilarious and curious. We had a wonderful time.
JG is quite an impressive person. He is a founder, unbelievably well connected, and most importantly, undeniably his own person. He is a fastidious aesthete, despises modern music (modern being anything made after 1920), and is a fan briefcases, Chopin, and dining clubs.
NYC attracts the interesting and the interested. It is dirty, expensive, occasionally dangerous, and prone to extreme cold and heat. It’s incredible, and everyone should visit at least once
