As you get older, it becomes rarer that you have moments which make you go “whoa”.
Well, today, I had one of those, when I had my bloodiest, biggest, and frankly, most annoying blood nose.
Before you jump to the comments section and accuse me of picking winners up the snog, it turns out the leading cause of blood noses is very dry air. Combine that with the cold (it’s been negative most of the day) and the altitude (currently 2.5k above sea level), and this genuinely was a disaster waiting to happen.
Blood noses aren’t much fun, but it’s the clean up that gets you. Trying to sneak into the Maccas toilet without anyone seeing you and reporting you to police isn’t how most people plan to spend their time, but looking back, I guess it is rather amusing.
