DenHac

I recently joined DenHac, the US’ third oldest “HackerSpace”.

Sometimes called MakerSpaces, these are shared workshops were people can do woodwork, auto repair, fix electronics, code, solder, weld, and more, all in the company of like-minded creators.

I thought it was super cool. One of my goals in the next little while is to get back into basic woodworking, but buying all the tools is expensive, and I have nowhere to store them. For $45 a month, I have access to every tool I could possibly imagine, a workshop open 24/7 (that is only 7 minutes down the road) and a community of people that can teach me along the way.

I’m looking forward to it!
