After seven years of operations, the city of Denver has decided not to renew Lime’s license to operate their scooters. I for one am going to miss them.
I think micro-mobility is great, and Lime is my second favourite provider (Neutron Mobility, being the GOAT for their $60 unlimited rides a month offering).
There is no denying there are issues with the scooters; people fall off them drunk, they clog up the footpath, lime green isn’t everyone’s favourite colour. But being able to scoot from a to b for only a few dollars is such a great option to have.
Lime, we are going to miss you.
