We’re off! After a few hiccups, we have boarded our frights, and we’re sitting on the tarmac right now at Philly airport, ready to fly.
Ky and I are heading to France for 10 days as a honeymoon/babymoon/ visa run all rolled into one. It’s going to be a quick two days in Paris, and then off to the South for a week. It should be great.
Ky and I are fortunate to have visited Paris before, so there isn’t a massive rush to see the Eiffel Tower or the Louvre. Instead, our plan is just to take it easy, enjoy one another’s company, eat, drink, and soak up one last adult holiday before the baby comes.
Today also marks the 171th day of doing my daily Duolingo. Whether it has worked or not will be found out pretty soon, but I’m looking forward to giving it a twirl. French is a beautiful language; but I have struggled at times to pick up the sounds. We shall see how it plays out.
Regardless, it should be a wonderful trip, and I’ll be keen to share my adventure here.
