One of the nice things about Western Civilization, and America in particular, is people are free to be who they want to be.
Case in point: today at the park I saw a furry scampering around. I know at least one of my readers is a furry expert, but for the uninitiated, furries are people who dress up as, imitate, and often identify as an animal other than human. They call this alter-ego, and I am dead serious, their fur-sona.
It’s not something I would probably do, but this young fellow walking around on all fours, with cat mask and tail firmly on, wasn’t hurting anyone. Good for them, I’m glad they’re enjoying their life!
