We have had two family outings to the park this weekend, and each time we saw some rather peculiar things.
On Saturday, we saw an orthodox Jewish couple walking the lake in the opposite direction to us, an entirely unremarkable occasion. Or at least it was until a runner, who for reasons unknown, deemed it necessary to scream “Shabbat Shalom” to the couple as he jogged by. It was very unusual.
Today we went to a different park, and within 200 yards of one another we saw a Furry convention and a particularly heated game of quidditch. Again, very unusual, but thus is life living in a free country.
I think it’s great.
