We had friends round tonight for a surprise party. They recently got engaged, and Ky and I are thrilled for them.
Sadly, we couldn’t make it to their Boston engagement party, but now that they’re back in the centennial state, we wanted to do something to celebrate.
It was the perfect example of casual dinner party, elevated. We had Aperol Spritzs, we had quite literally the best ragu I have ever made (the secret is pork belly) and we had a blast.
We’re lucky to have friends like them in our lives, it makes living in a foreign land feel like home.
