It has been almost 5 months, but today, we finally, FINALLY, unpacked our last packing box. It was, unsurprisingly, our art.
Now, art is probably too strong a word. Most of it is really just framed photos of our wedding, family, and holidays, but there are a few pieces that deserve to see the light of day.
My personal favourite is a David Shrigley piece, which I got for Ky a little while ago.

It is simple, fun, and clean. It doesn’t try to be anything it isn’t, but every time I walk past it, I am glad it is there. Not a bad pick!
I don’t know if there are any more pieces that we will add. I am a fan of indigineous Australian art, southern African minimalist art, and think it might be nice to have a Norman Rockwell print at some point, the classic American vernacular painter.
It’s a low priority for now, but we will get there.
