I write about 80% of my posts on my phone, although 90% of my “effort posts” are typed up on my laptop. No surprises as to why.
Today is a rare example of writing a shorter post on my laptop, and when I do this, I often take the time to update the plugins that keep this website and thus project running. Despite being an incredibly simple website, I am constantly surprised by how many updates I need to do each time; it is often five or six a fortnight. They’re small, with each update usually taking <10 seconds to process, and usually, I never notice a single change.
I am also a big fan of the small, frequent updates that software allows. With each change, the difference is so marginal that I barely notice, but over two or three years, the product is significantly better.
These marginal improvements are going around all around us.
Be grateful.
