The countdown to baby continues, and we’re making the most of our time together as DINKs. Last week it was Fred Again. This week, it was RnB superstar, Usher. Next week will most likely be watching Ratatouille at home on the couch.
Usher is awesome. He has a great catalogue of songs, and despite being 45, he still looks good. Since the first moment he exploded on the scene in 2001, Usher has been a deadly combo of all singing, all dancing, all gyrating madness and mischief. The years have not wearied him, nor have the abs been condemned. This was not an embarrassing late career cash grab, this was a blast.
What was particularly interesting was the demographic. It was a combo of Xennials who wanted to delete some disposable cash on a childhood icon, but there were also plenty of people who were younger, and shall I be so bold to say, ratchet. In jeans and a tshirt, I was terribly under dressed.
Leopard made quite an appearance, as did big hair. Ky and I spotted a few stand outs, but none topped the fluro orange dress that made me feel like a Mossad agent.

It was a wonderful evening.
