People love to complain about their telecom provider. Who wouldn’t? After all, you don’t think about them 99% of the time, and then 1% of the time, either due to poor connection, an unexpected bill, or an outage, it is all consuming.
As readers of this series will know, yesterday our internet went out. Today, our technician came out, free of charge, and fixed it within an hour. It turns out there was an issue connecting the cable to the street, so we never would have been able to solve it ourselves.
So perhaps, these days, my relationship with telecoms is 98% ignore, 1% hate, and 1% gratitude. Quite the improvement!
