Regular readers will know that my favourite piece of software is Cursor, an AI-powered coding tool. There are so many things I love about it, but the main thing is this: it allows muggles like me to build things in code cheaply, quickly, and effectively.
Today, Cursor emailed me to tell me what my usage was like in the 321 days since I created my account. This is their equivalent of Spotify Unwrapped:

The one number that jumped out was Tokens, at 1.01 billion. That’s a LOT of tokens. For context, the entire Harry Potter series is 1.44m tokens, so 700x less than what I did with Cursor this year.
For anyone who has thought about software, programming, data, or just computers in general, its a phenomenal tool.
It will be interesting to see what 2026 brings, but my early prediction is that I will crack the 2b number.
