Today was a great day exploring Sweet Home Chicago with our friends Gina and Bennet. Chicago is one of the world’s great cities, and the weather today made it really shine.
The first thing about Chicago that is so interesting is its position on the lake. And not just any lake, a Great Lake. Yep, these things are huge, to the point that they have beaches and hundreds of people sailing on them. Pretty neat!
Downtown Chicago is where they filmed a lot of the Batman trilogy. These neo-gothic buildings are really impressive; I wish we built more building like this.
Apart from crime, corruption, and deep dish pizzas, Chi-raq is well known for the public art installation, the Bean.
Unfortunately it was closed, but I still got this snap.
Final image has to be the food. These Korean inspired tacos hit the spot, and something you can’t find in Denver.
Overall, I’d rate Chicago highly, and would certainly come back
