  • All American

Today my future brother in law and I went for an All American afternoon. It was a wild ride. It all started at lunchtime, where we dined out at apparently one of Denver’s premier Mexican restaurants. They say “location, location, location” when it comes to the Real Estate industry, but when it comes to dining…

  • Prince of Dune

It’s not really a Christmas Movie, but we watched Prince of Egypt this evening. What struck me was how much it reminded me of another movie I had seen, 10 months earlier. Dune is a good movie, and there are obviously a lot of differences. But beyond the desert backdrop, the idea of an enslaved…

  • Dark Side

I am ashamed to admit it, but I have embraced the Darkness, and decided to add a Pop-Up to my Home Page. I know they’re not always the most popular, but I realised that I have been getting a few people message me about how they went to my blog, liked it, read a few…

  • Breather

It’s been pretty full on the past few weeks at work, so it was nice that today was an easier day. Being able to finish everything early, take time for a proper lunch, go for a stroll, and play with Occi was a much needed breather.

  • Top Golf

Today, Ky and I, along with her sister Dee and fiance Ben, went to Top Golf. For the uninitiated, Top Golf is what you get when you take the humble driving range, and throw a ton of Private Equity cash at it. The premise is simple: hit golf balls into an empty field, as many…

  • Get it India

When entering India, one of the most difficult things is filling out the visa application. The UI/UX on the site is appalling, and regularly crashes. Putting your payment details in rarely works, and requires you to attempt the process multiple times. If it there way of keeping the weakwilled out, then it’s very effective. As…

Why I started this blog

I don’t really use Social Media anymore; I’m too young for Facebook, too old for SnapChat, too normie for Discord and too boring for Instagram. While this buys me back time and peace of mind, it means that it can sometimes be difficult to share my life with my friends and family outside of phone calls and in-person meetups. As I live overseas, this can be a difficulty.

With this in mind, and inspired my friend Dan Cullum (check out his fantastic site HERE), I have started a daily blog. Not only will I be able to share my ideas, news, and stories to friends and family, but it serves as a time capsule as I move through life. In the future, I look forward to seeing how my views, opinions, and ideas change over time. At the very least, it is an exercise in discipline, and may be of interest to my descendants at some time in the future.

While I imagine most followers of this blog will be friends and family, all are welcome to subscribe. Feel free to email at harry@harrywetherall.com, I reply to every message, and would love to hear from you.
