  • “I win trophies”

The Premier League season is over, and while my team came 7th (more on this later), I wanted to tip my hat to one person who has been receiving a gut full of hate, Erik ten Hag. Erik, or EtH as he is known on-the-lines, is the manager (aka head coach) of Manchester United, arguably…

  • Computer Museum

I imagine you, dear reader, are probably a little tired of reading the updates of my time in SF, so this will be the last post. It is, however, a goody. As a team building activity – I guess you could call it that – a few of us visited the Science Museum in Mountain…

  • What goes up…

This week has been a blast. Flying off to SF, meeting the team and working hard during the day, then catching up with friends in the evening was great fun, but sadly, it has come at a cost. I fell into bed last night at 3AM after a slightly delayed flight, and woke up feeling…

  • Bay Area

I’m on the flight back from SF after spending three days there for work. It was nothing short of terrific. Sam Fran gets a bad rap. People talk about it as a progressive hell hole, a drug and depravity filled disaster zone, or (and this is my favourite term) “”West Coast Gotham”. There is no…

  • Vale Bob Pt 2

Yesterday I wrote about the tough circumstances that my grandfather endured during the early stages of his life. Today, I would like to write about what came next. Arriving back to the UK at 21, Bob was what you would call a catch. His time in Malaya might have been brutal, but thanks to the…

Why I started this blog

I don’t really use Social Media anymore; I’m too young for Facebook, too old for SnapChat, too normie for Discord and too boring for Instagram. While this buys me back time and peace of mind, it means that it can sometimes be difficult to share my life with my friends and family outside of phone calls and in-person meetups. As I live overseas, this can be a difficulty.

With this in mind, and inspired my friend Dan Cullum (check out his fantastic site HERE), I have started a daily blog. Not only will I be able to share my ideas, news, and stories to friends and family, but it serves as a time capsule as I move through life. In the future, I look forward to seeing how my views, opinions, and ideas change over time. At the very least, it is an exercise in discipline, and may be of interest to my descendants at some time in the future.

While I imagine most followers of this blog will be friends and family, all are welcome to subscribe. Feel free to email at harry@harrywetherall.com, I reply to every message, and would love to hear from you.
