  • Blog Post #24: Covid

I’ve got it. Well, not officially, but I certainly seem to be displaying the symptoms. The past few days I have laid out flat, feeling shocking, and I haven’t felt this bad since the last time I had it. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

  • Blog Post #23: The Tail End

When I first started this blog, I created a road map for how I was hoping this endeavour to turn out. The first time I tried creating a regular blog, I ended up telling a ton of people, getting 20+ people signed up, started pumping out content, and then…. two weeks later I missed my…

  • Blog Post #22: Rereading a classic

I’ve started reading the Lord of the Rings on my Kindle as a form of literary escapism. I like to work between books, and in between Alex Hormozi’s $100 Million Offers and Sprint, it is nice to read something that is just for fun. This is technically a rereading, at least for the first half…

  • Blog Post #21: Lazy Sunday

Today I woke up feeling under the weather and not 100%. Maybe it’s the travel, maybe it’s the cold weather, maybe it’s skiing. Anyway, not great. The cure for me has been a lazy Sunday; I cleaned the house, had brunch with a friend, made pumpkin soup, and watched a bit of the NFL playoffs….

  • Blog Post #20: Ski Day

My wife and I were fortunate to get our first turns in for the year at Keystone. We went early season last year, and today was night and day different. So much more snow, so much more fun, but alas, a lot more people. An hour long trip became a two hour one. One of…

  • Blog Post #19: French Frustrations

One of my main goals this year is to improve my foreign language skills. If I had to score how I am going out of 10, 7 excluded, I would say a six. While I have been consistent on DuoLingo (21 day streak baby!), I am caught up in an annoying vortex of where to…

Why I started this blog

I don’t really use Social Media anymore; I’m too young for Facebook, too old for SnapChat, too normie for Discord and too boring for Instagram. While this buys me back time and peace of mind, it means that it can sometimes be difficult to share my life with my friends and family outside of phone calls and in-person meetups. As I live overseas, this can be a difficulty.

With this in mind, and inspired my friend Dan Cullum (check out his fantastic site HERE), I have started a daily blog. Not only will I be able to share my ideas, news, and stories to friends and family, but it serves as a time capsule as I move through life. In the future, I look forward to seeing how my views, opinions, and ideas change over time. At the very least, it is an exercise in discipline, and may be of interest to my descendants at some time in the future.

While I imagine most followers of this blog will be friends and family, all are welcome to subscribe. Feel free to email at harry@harrywetherall.com, I reply to every message, and would love to hear from you.
