I was due to fly today; and while I usually fly United, on this occasion I decided to go with Delta to save a few dollars. Big, big mistake.
It really was a comedy of errors; beginning with the check in, where the lady behind the desk dropped my card between the crack in the scales. See photo below.
15 minutes later, after the scales were unassembled, I had my card returned safely. Little did I know that was just the beginning of another disaster.
My flight was delayed by an hour; meaning I would have missed my connecting flight. So I’m writing this in my own bed, which was not in the plans, but far, far better than being stuck in the Seattle airport overnight.
We try again tomorrow, wish me luck!
