There are many Trump quotes, some of which I like. One I am not so keen on is “drill, baby, drill”, referring to his love of expanding oil exploration in the US, particularly in protected areas. While I am a big fan of fracking, I’m not fully onboard with this.
Regardless of my own views, it has become common parlance, even used semi-frequently in some dentist clinics. But you know things have really taken off when world leaders begin remixing it.
This is precisely what happened when Emmanuel Macron, president of France, did recently, when he announced that he wanted to “Branche, bébé, branche!”, or “Plug, baby, plug!”
In the AI race, people assumed it was just going to be a battle between the US and China. However, Europe, and in particular France, has entered the chat. Thanks to their enormous nuclear power plants, as well as elite level talent, France has everything it needs to be the third player in the game.
To test this hypothesis, I did what everyone should do, downloaded Le Chat onto my phone. Bromidically named, but apparently both cheaper and faster than ChatGPT, I’ll get back to you with my findings.
