Issued

It was the news I have been waiting for: my passport, with visa, has finally been issued.

It’s been a fairly stressful experience, to tell the truth. I dropped off my passport on the 24th, and have already had to move my flight out once. Ky and Occi had to fly to NZ without me, and the timezones have been killer. It hasn’t been the most pleasant of times.

To compound the issue, there is absolutely zero support from the embassy. Their email doesn’t work. Their website is glitchy. Their phone number is automated. All they tell you is that it usually takes up to 10 business days. It’s infuriating.

Tomorrow I pick it up, and it will be a huge relief. While spending a few extra days with my sister and BIL, I am very much looking forward to seeing the family.
