  • Fast Solutions

This morning I woke up feeling worse than a sack of cats thrown down a cliff face. Body aching, digestive system all over the place, tired, headachy, and bouncing between feeling overheated and shivering. Searching my symptoms didn’t give me much headway, but I already knew what was wrong. Cold weather, a 24 hour flight,…

  • Memories

ChatGPT has just launched a new feature, Memories, where the AI remembers things about you, and can access this data across all your various chats. This is something I have been wanting for a while, and despite having used some work arounds in the past that kinda work, this is something I am very excited…

  • Wedding Part 2

Here is part 2, the evening ceremony for Lachy and Hanna’s wedding. It was so great to see two people I really care about get married. Lachy and Hanna were both my old housemates, and it was so cool to see their relationship build over time. When it came to the wedding, it wasn’t a…

  • Wedding day Part 1

In less than two hours time, my best friend Lachy is going to be married to the love of his life. So far, everything has been nothing short of wonderful. Last night was drinks with the family, and it was a great chance to catch up with old faces and meet the new ones. Good…

  • Sun rise

I had to get up at 5:45 this morning to get on a work call, and while it was slightly annoying as I was stood up, it did mean I got something nice in return, a beautiful sunrise. Ky and I are staying at a place right on the beach, and as I write this,…

  • Delicious

Some cities are known for their architecture, their culture, or their nightlife. For Hobart, I think it’s the food. Last night Ky and I went out to dine at ALOFT, and had a superbly made (and priced!) meal out. There were so many highlights throughout the meal, from a raw wallaby tartare on tapioca, to…

Why I started this blog

I don’t really use Social Media anymore; I’m too young for Facebook, too old for SnapChat, too normie for Discord and too boring for Instagram. While this buys me back time and peace of mind, it means that it can sometimes be difficult to share my life with my friends and family outside of phone calls and in-person meetups. As I live overseas, this can be a difficulty.

With this in mind, and inspired my friend Dan Cullum (check out his fantastic site HERE), I have started a daily blog. Not only will I be able to share my ideas, news, and stories to friends and family, but it serves as a time capsule as I move through life. In the future, I look forward to seeing how my views, opinions, and ideas change over time. At the very least, it is an exercise in discipline, and may be of interest to my descendants at some time in the future.

While I imagine most followers of this blog will be friends and family, all are welcome to subscribe. Feel free to email at harry@harrywetherall.com, I reply to every message, and would love to hear from you.
