  • Catch me if you can

Ky and I watched the movie Catch Me If You Can this evening. It’s a good one. While possibly a bit too long, and the plot line with the dad didn’t really fit in, it’s a hell of a story, and Leo DiCaprio does a wonderful job. Is all of it true? Perhaps not, but…

  • Northern Lights

Tonight was one of the most active Northern Lights events in quite some time. If you found yourself within this area of the map, there was a reasonable chance you could see them. Unfortunately, despite being in the zone, we didn’t see them. Being downtown didn’t help, but we drove out 40 minutes into the…

  • Morning routine

There is a lot of discussion in the productivity world around morning routines. Exercise first thing, or journal? Ice bath? Compulsory. High fat breakfast or intermittent fasting? The comment section becomes a war zone. There is only one morning routine which I like, have followed, and found useful. Alex Hormozi is a business and productivity…

  • Personal Brand

It occured to me that while the world of professional sports is so heavily focussed on brands, it is interesting that one area has been largely ignored, the coach, with some exceptions. This idea came to me while thinking of the University of Colorado head coach, Deion Sanders, who prefers to go by term “Prime…

  • One year on

It’s been a year since Hamas invaded Israel, and while I would like to say things have got better, they really haven’t. Despite that, I thought it would be worthwhile exploring the good, the bad, and the ugly. The Good: Honestly, not much, but Israel has shown itself to be a resilient nation, both militarily…

  • Everyone needs a hobby

I have been thinking of getting back into an old hobby for a while, and today, while Ky was at yoga, I decided to make a gentle return to the world of magic. Denver isn’t a well known destination in the conjuring arts, but the store I went to, and the man behind the counter,…

Why I started this blog

I don’t really use Social Media anymore; I’m too young for Facebook, too old for SnapChat, too normie for Discord and too boring for Instagram. While this buys me back time and peace of mind, it means that it can sometimes be difficult to share my life with my friends and family outside of phone calls and in-person meetups. As I live overseas, this can be a difficulty.

With this in mind, and inspired my friend Dan Cullum (check out his fantastic site HERE), I have started a daily blog. Not only will I be able to share my ideas, news, and stories to friends and family, but it serves as a time capsule as I move through life. In the future, I look forward to seeing how my views, opinions, and ideas change over time. At the very least, it is an exercise in discipline, and may be of interest to my descendants at some time in the future.

While I imagine most followers of this blog will be friends and family, all are welcome to subscribe. Feel free to email at harry@harrywetherall.com, I reply to every message, and would love to hear from you.
